Picturesque villages surrounded by a breathtaking mountain world. Magnificent views and crystal-clear mountain lakes. This variety of landscapes around Landeck is waiting for you to be discovered. The centrepiece is the Kaunergrat nature park, a high Alpine landscape, unique and lately under conservation. What is unique is the contrast between the limestone massifs of the Lechtal Alps and the quaint primary rock of the Ötztal Alps.
Our local mountain, the Venet, is an incomparable viewpoint and starting point for hikes to mountain huts and alpine pastures on easy forest trails and forest educational trails or demanding high routes. The Hotel Mozart lies directly at the famous long-distance hiking trails like the European long-distance path E5, the Lechtal high route (Lechtaler Höhenweg), the Via Claudia Augusta, and the Way of St. James.
For those who also want to do something for their fitness and health during their holidays, there are numerous running and Nordic walking trails in our region – from easy to demanding. All of the running and Nordic walking trails are designed and signposted according to the “Laufland Tirol” guidelines. Parts of them are illuminated.
